5.20.11 Kroger shopping deals (ends 5.21.11)

Here is how to stretch your grocery dollar. Only buy items on sale and match them with coupons when applicable. Here's a new way to shop: Write out a list of items you need, look at your local grocery store weekly sale ad, then sift through your coupons to see if any match the sale items. Even if you have little or no coupons, shopping sale items will cut your grocery bill 25-50%. Don't buy items just because you have a coupon. If an item is on sale and it's a great buy and they are out, ask for a rain check.

Plan to go to the grocery store 3 or more times per week. I make small shopping trips, this way it's easier to keep track of. I make sure each items rings up at the right price, I make sure each coupon scans correctly and double if applicable.  You have got to pay attention as they are scanning the items and the coupons.
